Imagine, this time next year, walking in some of the most biblically significant places of the world.
Imagine walking and exploring the land where Jesus ministered; places like the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus and the disciples sailed, the Mount of the Beatitudes, where Jesus preached his Sermon on the Mount, the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized, the traditional place of the Upper Room, where the Last Supper took place, the Via Dolorosa (the way of the cross), the journey walked by Jesus to his crucifixion, the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, Calvary and the Garden tomb!
Imagine seeing Caesarea, the Roman city where Paul first delivered the gospel message to Gentiles, Caesarea Philippi, where Peter declared to Jesus, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” and other sites of the early church.
Imagine seeing the Old Testament come alive as you discover ancient cities such as Mount Carmel, where Elijah took on the prophets of Baal, the ancient city of Dan, the Spring of Harod, where Gideon chose his 300 men to battle against the 135,000 Midianites soldiers (a battle won in God’s strength), Jericho overview, the first area of the Promise Land conquered by Israel, the desert caves, where David encountered King Saul and Beersheba, the ancient home of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
All of this and more could be a reality for you. Kay and I invite you to prayerfully consider journeying with us as we tour the Holy Land in 2017 to see and discover these and other biblically rich places.
Our twelve-day, life-transforming, journey will begin on April 18 and conclude on April 29, 2017. Together, we will immerse ourselves in the sights, culture, breathtaking landscapes and unique Bible studies in the Holy Land. The Bible will come alive in ways you never thought possible; and your daily walk, prayer life and understanding of the Bible will be forever changed.
The tour is tailored specifically for MeadowBrook, intentionally small and distinctively intimate. We have secured first-class hotels, professional charter buses, and selected some of the better restaurants and outdoor venues for remarkable culture experiences.
Some of the many highlights of our trip together include: sharing a communion service at the Garden Tomb, having an opportunity for baptism in the Jordan River, journeying across the Sea of Galilee on a replica boat of Jesus’ time, discovering Bethlehem, the city of Jesus’ birth, and having prayer time at the Western Temple Wall in Jerusalem.
