7/15/18
It is an exciting time at MeadowBrook! I feel strongly that the Spirit is at work and is leading us to be in a position for an expanded kingdom ministry locally, nationally, and globally. We, as a church family are prayerfully moving forward in response. To accomplish with excellence all that needs to be done, we have deemed it wise to progress in three significant steps. After much prayer and collaboration among staff and lay ministry teams, we see this as the best pathway forward for our church.

Step One

» Prepare to construct a worship facility & more
Our building team proposes Richard Foo, AIA and black design architecture to be the firm to update our masterplan and design our worship center and connection and education space. With the church’s approval, the design firm will begin their work immediately. The team will also begin interviewing construction companies. An early selection will allow the company to give helpful input to the team and the architects.
» Launch Kids Worship Live
We’re launching a live worship for kids during our church-wide worship times, giving us opportunity to engage more families and support the discipling efforts of parents, while allowing the grown-ups a focused and uninterrupted time of worship.
» Implement the future schedule now
Implementing our future schedule now will establish a rhythm of ministry that will continue into the future at MeadowBrook. Our new times will be Worship at 8:00 & 10:45 AM and Life Groups at 9:30 AM.
» Raise $1,000,000 in harvest offerings {September-December}
Adding $1Million to our cash on hand, will complete our second tier goal, giving us a total of $5,000,000 on hand for the project. Coupled with the capital development campaign beginning in 2019, we’re on track to build the facility debt free to the glory of God!
» Host a Q & A and business session
On August 1 at 6:00 PM, we’ll give the congregation an opportunity to ask questions about black design architecture, the process and the immediate plans before asking them to affirm the building team’s proposal.

Step Two

» Begin renovations
Start renovations according to the masterplan for additional education space that allows us to better steward our current resources and facilities
» Capital Development Campaign
Begin our final capital development campaign to pledge and give $3,000,000 over a 24 or 36 month period

Step Three

Build New Worship Center
» Key Factors
• 800 seat worship center
• Expanded connection space with café
• Connected corridors
• Extended covered drop off area
• More education space in preparation for kingdom growth

• Excellent design that glorifies God as creator

Budget: $8 Million
Current Funds: $4 Million – We’re half way there!
Final Step: Construct the building and walk in day one, DEBT-FREE, to the glory of God!
Pray for God’s provision, wisdom & discernment as to how he is calling you to generously
