Henslee/Wade – Mod 3
Grant/Hill (Women’s Group) – Mod 2
Our life group consists of women in their 50 – 80’s. Some are still married; others are single, widowed, or divorced. Our primary focus is to systemically study the Word together. We seek to learn the facts, the meaning in context, and the application for us today. We are a small group that has a close bond in the Lord, and we have social functions as much as is possible for our age. Gerry Grant, a missionary for 32 years in the Caribbean, is the teacher. Anita Hill, the assistant, has spent her life as a teacher and principal in elementary public schools, and a teacher of various groups in the church family.
Akin/McElwee – Room 306
Our group is made up of senior adults ages 60’s to 90 and is attended by couples, widows, widowers and divorcees. Our goal in Life Group is to KNOW CHRIST on a deeper level through the study of his Word, and to make Him known to others. We pray for each other, give generously together, witness to others, and fellowship together. Our group is passionate about loving and serving Jesus faithfully as long as we are able and leaving a godly legacy for those who come after us.
Parker/Burns – Dining Hall
This class consists mainly of “Builders” with an almost equal number of men and women, all born between 1935 and 1952. Our group has a strong love for God and helping others. We have a high rate of serving in the ministries of the church. We support our church mission as prayer warriors, financial supporters and doers. We participate at the Open Hands Warehouse, the Storefront, at Way of the Cross and anywhere needed at MeadowBrook.
